Ribeye Steak
Cut and wrapped in store. Watch the Special board on the meat wall for the week's price.
Meat & SeafoodMeat department, along the back wall
Fresh produce, meat, deli, dairy, bakery and frozen — all under one roof.

Department
The Meat department runs along the back wall. Beef, pork and chicken are cut, trayed and wrapped on site rather than arriving in a sealed case from a distribution centre, which is the difference you notice when you want three thick chops instead of four thin ones.
Steaks — ribeye, sirloin, and the cuts in between — sit alongside roasts, ground beef, pork chops, chicken breasts and whole birds. Fresh sausage, smokies and wieners are in the same run, and the deli case a few steps away carries the sliced and cured side of things.
Ground beef is done in store, which is why it's usually the item people come back for. Family-size packs are put up as well as the smaller trays.
There's a specials board on the wall beside the department with the week's meat prices on it. It changes weekly, so it's the one thing on this site that would be out of date the moment it was published — you'll find it in the store, and the staff will tell you what's on it over the phone.
Seafood is packaged and frozen rather than a wet counter: fillets, shrimp and the like are in the freezer run, with canned tuna, salmon and other canned seafood down aisle 4.
Stock varies week to week. This is what the store reliably carries, not a live inventory.

On the board beside the meat wall in store. Prices change weekly so they aren't published here — call (403) 935-5555 and someone will read you what's up this week.
Ask in the department. Whether a specific request can be filled depends on what's in that day, which is exactly the kind of thing worth a phone call first.
It's fresher on average and cut to order, so you get the thickness and portion you actually want rather than what fits a tray. Quality still comes down to the cut and the supplier.
Ground beef and sausage one to two days, steaks, chops and roasts three to five, and chicken one to two. Keep it on the bottom shelf so nothing drips onto anything else.
Ask in the department. What can be done on a given day depends on what's in, which is exactly the sort of thing worth a phone call before you drive over.
No halal certification has been confirmed for this store, so nothing here claims it. Please ask in the meat department directly rather than relying on this website.

Someone in the store can check a shelf faster than any website can tell you what's on it.
