Department
A full wall of glass freezer doors, which for a store this size is a genuinely deep selection. Vegetables and berries at one end, fries and hash browns beside them, then pizza, waffles, pockets, pot pies and prepared entrées, with the ice cream at the far end where it belongs.
Frozen vegetables do a job fresh ones can't: they're already prepped, they don't go off, and a bag of peas or a stir-fry blend turns a piece of chicken into supper without a cutting board. Corn, peas, mixed vegetables and stir-fry blends are all stocked, along with frozen berries for smoothies and baking.
Fries, hash browns, pizza, pockets, pot pies and single-serve and family entrées cover the nights nobody is cooking. That's not a failure of nutrition, that's a Tuesday in February.
Tubs, novelties, bars and boxes are at the end of the run. The waffle cones and sugar cones are not in the freezer, though — they're back in aisle 1 with the marshmallows, which catches people out often enough to be worth mentioning.
Stock varies week to week. This is what the store reliably carries, not a live inventory.

Questions
It's a full wall of glass freezer doors — vegetables, fruit, potatoes, pizza, breakfast items, entrées, seafood and ice cream.
Often, and they keep far longer, which usually matters more. Both are stocked — produce is at the front of the store, frozen is along the freezer run.
In aisle 1, with the marshmallows — not in the freezer with the ice cream. It's the store's most reliable wrong turn.
Yes. Fish fillets and shrimp are in the freezer run. Canned seafood is in aisle 4.
If it thawed in the fridge and is still cold, yes — though quality drops each time. If it sat out at room temperature, or if it's warmed above fridge temperature, don't refreeze it.
In the fridge overnight is safest. Cold water in a sealed bag, changed every half hour, is the quick alternative. Thawing on the counter lets the outside sit in the danger zone while the middle is still solid.
Food kept solidly frozen stays safe more or less indefinitely, but quality doesn't. The date on the pack is about texture and flavour, not safety — vegetables are good for around eight to twelve months, and meat and fish rather less.
Most of it, yes, and fries, nuggets, pockets and breaded fish usually come out better than in the oven. Drop the oven temperature on the pack by about 10°C and check early.
Plain frozen vegetables, fruit and fish are frozen soon after harvest and hold their nutrients well. What varies is the prepared meals — those are worth reading the sodium on, same as anything else in a box.
