A grocery store that still works like one
Irricana Family Foods is an independent Family Foods store. That means the person who cuts the meat is the person you can ask about it, the shelves are set by people who shop here themselves, and if something isn't carried, asking at the front counter is a legitimate way to change that.
It also means the shop has to be genuinely complete, because nobody wants to drive somewhere else for cat litter. So alongside the fresh departments there are six aisles covering baking, breakfast, canned goods, cleaning, health and baby, pet food and the greeting card you forgot.

There are six fresh departments — Produce, Meat, Deli, Dairy, Bakery and Frozen Food — plus six aisles covering snacks and soft drinks, condiments and baking, breakfast and coffee, soup, pasta and canned goods, cleaning and pet supplies, and health, baby and household items.
Does the store have fresh produce?
Yes. Produce is the first department inside the doors, with fruit and vegetables, bagged salads, mushrooms and fresh herbs.
Is there a meat counter?
Yes. The Meat department runs along the back wall, with beef, pork and chicken cut and wrapped in store, and weekly specials posted on the board beside it.
Is there a deli and a bakery?
Both. The Deli case carries sliced meats, sausage, bacon and cheese. The in-store Bakery has bread, buns and baked goods, and the hot drinks machine beside it pours karak chai, coffee and hot chocolate.
