What aisle is it in?

Aisle 2, on the baking ingredients shelf — the same run as the sugar, flour, spices and salt. Baking powder, cornstarch, yeast and vanilla are all on that shelf too.

Aisle 4, with the coating mixes, opposite the canned vegetables. People often look for them in the bakery first, which is the wrong end of the store.

Aisle 2, on the spices and salt shelf. Fresh garlic is up in the Produce department at the front of the store instead.

Aisle 2, on the pickles and olives shelf, next to the barbecue sauce and condiments.

Aisle 3, on the pancake and honey shelf, beside the maple and table syrups — not with the sugar in aisle 2.

Aisle 1, next to the marshmallows. Not in the freezer with the ice cream, which catches people out constantly.

Aisle 2, on the food wrap, foil and Ziploc shelf. Cling film, parchment, wax paper and resealable bags are all on the same run.

Aisle 4, on the Mexican and Asian rice shelf, along with jasmine, long grain and instant rice, and the cooking sauces.

In an independent store, shelves are worked most days rather than on one big weekly reset, so there isn't a single best day. Produce and meat are freshest earlier in the day, before the afternoon rush picks the displays over.
